Hi, I've successfully compiled the latest coda, lwp, rpc2 and rvm with Kerberos support on Linux SPARC. Ideally I'd like to make our SPARC U5 running Debian Potato (2.2.17) a coda server, but when I run make coda.o I get masses of errors: This looks a bit daunting. Has anybody looked at porting CODA to Linux SPARC? Beginning to wish I'd stuck with Solaris now :) TIA Shaun In file included from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/sched.h:18, from psdev.c:24: /usr/src/linux/include/asm/page.h:94: global register variable follows a functio /usr/src/linux/include/asm/page.h:94: warning: call-clobbered register used for er variable In file included from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/byteorder/big_endian.h:11, from /usr/src/linux/include/asm/byteorder.h:48, from /usr/src/linux/include/asm/bitops.h:10, from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/bitops.h:69, from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/fs.h:23, from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/tty.h:20, from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/sched.h:21, from psdev.c:24: /usr/src/linux/include/linux/byteorder/swab.h: In function `__fswab64': /usr/src/linux/include/linux/byteorder/swab.h:133: warning: left shift count >= /usr/src/linux/include/linux/byteorder/swab.h:133: warning: left shift count >= /usr/src/linux/include/linux/byteorder/swab.h:133: warning: right shift count >= e /usr/src/linux/include/linux/byteorder/swab.h:133: warning: right shift count >= e In file included from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/signal.h:64, from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/sched.h:23, from psdev.c:24: /usr/src/linux/include/linux/string.h: At top level: /usr/src/linux/include/linux/string.h:28: warning: conflicting types for built-i emset' /usr/src/linux/include/linux/string.h:29: warning: conflicting types for built-i emcpy' /usr/src/linux/include/linux/string.h:32: warning: conflicting types for built-i emcmp' In file included from /usr/src/linux/include/linux/vmalloc.h:7, from psdev.c:32:Received on 2000-10-30 10:53:51
