I just reinstalled my coda server; I am now unable to create volumes.


Here's what happens:
[root_at_triffid /coda_parts]# createvol_rep coda.root E0000100 /vicepa

Notice the calls failing with "Unknown RPC2 return code". 

There is nothing at all in /vice/srv/SrvErr; here is the end of
/vice/srv/SrvLog:

Anybody have any insight into what's going on here?  I recompiled coda
with some changes I've made to the backup system to test them out, so
maybe I've done something there to break volume creation.  I don't really
know where to start looking, though.
