A friend/colleague of mine has begun work on implementing RPC2 in Java. So far, he as simple marshalling/unmarshalling working and is about to write the state-machine for call and session management. So far, this is a toy project for him, however, his toy projects tend to get out of hand and become full-blown software systems. His interest in this is to develop a lightweight CFS java client for Network PC's etc. He work heavily in the Java space right now, formerly operating in the DCE space when we worked together. :) Who are the maintainers/active developers of RPC2? He wants to get in touch with them to talk about booboo's he's found in the C-implementation as well as hash out ideas. -- Jim +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Jim Doyle Boston University Information Technology Systems Analyst/Programmer email: jrd_at_bu.edu Distributed Systems http://www.bu.edu/~jrd/ tel.
