Well, I switched my system to a pre-release of glibc-2.1 (glibc-2.0.95) after some obnoxious problems with g++ under the glibc-1.99 that linuxppc is currently based on, and I believe that the coda client works. I can't test it yet because I am on the other side of an IP-masq firewall, and apparently coda doesn't work through this. Is there a way to get coda to work through IP_Masq? Can I forward specific ports? If so, which ones. Anyway, I then tried to set up the server, but got the following when trying to create a volume with createvol: (I had only started codasrv by the startserver script, and none of the auth or update stuff) Here's the gdb backtrace: (gdb) bt #0 0x15bcefc in __syscall_rt_sigsuspend () at soinit.c:59 #1 0x15bbcb8 in __sigsuspend (set=0x15021b48) at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/sigsuspend.c:44 #2 0x1802474 in zombie (sig=11) at srv.cc:344 #3 <signal handler called> #4 0x18211e4 in cpman::func (this=0x1ae3250, parm=608438476) at coppend.cc:179 #5 0x19d8cb8 in Create_Process_Part2 () at lwp.c:1107 #6 0x19d8bbc in Create_Process_Part2 () at lwp.c:1098 And the /vice/srv/SrvLog: 07:39:12 File Server started Wed Aug 12 07:39:12 1998 07:40:12 ****** FILE SERVER INTERRUPTED BY SIGNAL 11 ****** 07:40:12 ****** Aborting outstanding transactions, stand by... 07:40:12 Uncommitted transactions: 0 07:40:12 Uncommitted transactions: 0 07:40:12 Becoming a zombie now ........ 07:40:12 You may use gdb to attach to 1533 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Troy Benjegerdes | troybenj_at_iastate.edu | hozer_at_drgw.net | | Unix is user friendly...
