I normally use glimpse (available under redhat's contrib directory, 
my version is:

to answer this kind of question.

But I run glimpse on my setup and got no answer.  My source tree is Coda
4.6.1 so maybe the symbol "DIR_init" is new (or I did somethings wrong) ?
Maybe you want to make a try with your 4.7.1 source tree.

To summarise, glimpse does something like "find" plus "grep", except
that it pre-build the index, so it is extremely fast.  Give it a try !
