hi everyone,

i'm pretty new to all this but after a day of work i finally managed to
install coda 5.0.1 on my system. i'm running slackware 3.6 an a pII. with
glibc2.0.7 and libstc++ 2.8.0, kernel 2.2.0. i compiled the lot using egcs
1.0.3 and set up everything as described in the how-to. for testing server
and client are running on the same machine. everything works pretty well,
no errors in the logs.

my local admin user is bernd uid 501

after venus is up and running and coda is mounted i do the following:

charon:~> clog
username: bernd
Password:

charon:~> ctokens

Token held by the Cache Manager:

Local uid: 1000
Coda user id: 501
Expiration time: Sat Jan 30 15:52:42 1999

charon:~> touch /coda/t
touch: /coda/t: Permission denied

charon:~> ctokens

Token held by the Cache Manager:

Local uid: 1000
Not Authenticated

Authlog says:

14:52:42 In PWGetKeys()
14:52:42        vid = 501
14:52:42        vid = 501
14:52:42 AuthNewConn(0x1e2d7921, 0, 66, 2, 501)

SrvLog says:
14:53:16 Could not get a valid key in GetKeysFromToken

anyone had this before? help would be very much appreciated as coda looks
pretty interesting for me.

bernd
