Hi, I've started testing coda on Solaris 7 sparc machines. Here are some results: The client installed successfully on a Sparc5 and an Ultra1. However, on an ultra10 I got (during make install): echo 'name="coda" parent="pseudo" instance=0;' > /usr/kernel/drv/coda.conf chmod 644 /usr/kernel/drv/coda /usr/kernel/drv/coda.conf add_drv coda devfsadm: driver failed to attach: coda Warning: Driver (coda) successfully added to system but failed to attach gmake[1]: *** [real-install] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/bergerm/src/solaris-coda-0.03' gmake: *** [install] Error 2 and the device /devices/pseudo/coda_at_0:coda is never created, which causes venus to fail. more to follow. I have some more machines and I'll test the server, too soon. mfG Max Berger e-mail: max.berger_at_xslt.de -- XSLT: http://www.xslt.de/ ACPI4Linux: http://phobos.fs.tum.de/acpi/ FBR-Info: http://www.fs.tum.de/FSMPI/ Sysop: http://wwwbrauer.in.tum.de/ 9CF77B603671BB18 D5110085483230BB ftp://phobos.fs.tum.de/pub/pgp/max.berger.ascReceived on 2000-07-22 16:43:45
