SEFAIL3 is 'disk error', a write must have failed.

is the disk /extra0 where the dumps are going to full?

That is one nice thing about using Amanda for backups, they handle many
of these cases this more gracefully by falling back to 'degraded mode'
(incremental dump only) when there isn't enough holding disk space, or
when the tape is offline.
