Hello! It looks like many people experienced mystical problems while trying to set up multiple Coda servers. The reason was most probably simple - they used ip-addresses containing zero bytes. Address comparison routine in server code was vulnerable to such addresses and gave wrong answers. I have tested and ip-numbers do trigger some hard problems discussed on the list last year. Developers are informed and come surely promptly with a patch. In the mean time just use safe addresses for your tests, like 192.168.1.x instead of 192.168.0.x or 10.0.0.x Best regards, and do not give up on Coda, it *does* work, now more than ever :) -- IvanReceived on 2002-01-16 11:48:32
