Hi,

after fixing a missing rdsinit in in line 298 in the vice-setup-rvm 
skript i get an errormessage from rdsinit.

Rdsinit will initialize data and log.
Thes takes a while.
open_log failed.
do_rvm_options failed
? rvm_initialize failed, code: RVM_ELOG
Your coda server is not cpmpletely setup. You will need
set ip up by hand or fix the rpoblems and rerun /coda/sbin/vice-setup.

from vice-setup-rvm rdsinit will be start with

rdsinit -f $log $data $parms

I'm using Debian-2.2 with Kernel 2.4.17 and glibc-2.2.5.
The Log-Partition should be /dev/hda3 this is a 10M big partition
and data should be /deV/hda5 with 90M. The size for this partition is
3,3G.
