Hi,

I am pretty sure that the buglet / strange behaviour 
that causes StarOffice has been introduced between 
Kernel 2.4.2 and 2.4.6. Both machines have glibc2.1.3,
running on SuSe 7.0 installation.

I have straces of soffice with both
/net and user on coda, but debugging that 
is somewhat beyond me. 

The raw and "cleaned" (i.e. removed different [pid xxxx]
prefixes and nuked hex adresses 0x....) are available at

The real differences seem to start after line 1950.

Hope someone finally interprets what is wrong here.
