Hi,

I just tried to update my coda server to the latest release. This is my
configuration:

Redhat 7.1 with all the rpms installed the coda-server for RH8.0 demanded
coda-debug-server-5.3.20-1

Until then I had the following version:
coda-debug-server-5.3.15-1.i386.rpm

Now when I try to start auth2 I get the following error:
Error opening /vice/db/prot_users.db: Invalid argument

All I know about this file is, that it exists just like prot_index.db.

The funny thing is that switching back to the old version didn't help
either. Everything started by updatesrv.init seems to be working (at
least it doesn't disappear from the ps output). Codasrv runs for some
seconds but then shuts down with the same message as mentioned above.

Any ideas?

Ciao
Florian
