Hi, I've been trying to get Coda working on Redhat 8.0 for hours, to no avail. Everything builds and installs correctly. I'm using the 2.4.18 kernel module. vice-setup runs without any problems, and everything APPEARS to start correctly. The problem is when I try to create my root volume. [root]# createvol_rep rootvol E0000100 /vicepa V_BindToServer: binding to host synchron RPC2_NewBinding to server synchron failed with RPC2_NOBINDING (F) Failed to dump the current VRDB into /vice/db/VRList.new I can see that codasrv, auth2, rpc2portmap, updatesrv and updateclnt are all running. My /etc/services has all of the right entries in it. I can see listeners on codasrv and rpc2portmap in netstat. I've tried compiling the source and installing the RPM's, and I always get the same behavior. All of the client utilities show the same behavior. Turning debug on on auth2, rpc2portmap, and codasrv show stuff happening when it's starting up, then just tickcounts. Nothing shows in the logs or debug when I try to create the volume. /vice/srv/SrvLog shows the server has started. Any ideas? rpc2portmap 369/tcp rpc2portmap 369/udp # Coda portmapper codaauth2 370/tcp codaauth2 370/udp # Coda authentication server venus 2430/tcp # codacon port codasrv 2432/tcp # not used codasrv 2432/udp # server port codasrv-se 2433/tcp # tcp side effects codasrv-se 2433/udp # udp sftp side effectQReceived on 2003-03-02 20:54:12
