I've followed your instructions, plus removed the RPM's and haven't been sucessfull. The "make coda.o" (from that tarball) won't build the driver, so I did "cd linux2.4; make coda.o" and it built. Then "make install" installed it to /usr/src/linux-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/fs/coda and I've copied it where you suggested. Then I had to reinstall the rpm's because venus-setup is inside coda-client. dmesg says: Coda Kernel/Venus communications, v5.3.18, coda_at_cs.cmu.edu But venus still says: 10:20:19 Coda Venus, version 6.0.5 [...] 10:20:21 WorkerInit: Version Skew with kernel! Get a newer kernel! Can you send more detailed instructions on how to install CODA in a linux kernel 2.4? -- Nuno Tavares http://nthq.cjb.net/ Em Wed, 26 May 2004 02:10:02 -0400, Niraj Tolia escreveu: > Nuno, > The kernel interface for Coda changed between 5.x and 6.x.
