Well, not exactly :) 2.6 can do either Coda 6 or 5 kernel interfaces without any add-ons. The corresponding interface versions are 3 and 2. (For you there is no reason to use the old interface, which otherwise can be chosen by a kernel config option.) 2.4 has Coda 5 kernel interface ("version 2") out of the box but that is too old for current user space tools. If you apply http://coda.cs.cmu.edu/pub/coda/linux/kernel/linux-2.4-coda.patch say to 2.4.26, that provides Coda 6 kernel interface ("version 3"). Regards, -- IvanReceived on 2004-05-27 05:21:50
