Hadn't heard of it yet, but from the description it sounds a bit like
MS Briefcase, the functionality is probably comparable to unison.

It depends on whether they are keeping track of disconnected operations
in a modification log on the client or whether they compare the client
and server directory trees and heuristically try to discover what
changes need to be propagated.
