Hmm, Ivan Popov actually sent me a patch for a missing htons in the SRV
resolution code. What was released with coda-6.0.6 in fact doesn't work
right on a little endian (Intel) machine, so your PPC machine should
technically have fewer problems.

I am pretty sure I've seen this before and think I fixed it already. I
have to look back to figure out if this was before or after the 6.0.6
release, maybe I accidentally reverted a patch.

dpkg --purge should remove the conf files shouldn't it? I thought dpkg
--remove was the one that left them around. Or is it the reinstall part
that is breaking?
