Hi Jan, Thank you for the helpfull answer. I upgraded to 6.0.6 and cpasswd is working well now. I'm using Gentoo Linux and I'm installing packages marked _by Gentoo team_ as stable by default. So I upgraded to like development version (from Gentoo team view) and it is fine now.
