I have the Update daemons logs at /vice/misc I compiled coda myself, but before I used debian packages. That's why I stil have coda-update script in /etc/init.d The init(update.init) script is contained also in /usr/local/etc/ Actually I realized that having done the same adduser process described before does not need any restart of any daemon. Please find the logs and check them out U should see something like this: UpdateClntLog: 09:12:34 Notifying server asgard of database updates 15:29:12 Updated db/prot_users.cdb 15:29:13 Notifying server asgard of database updates 15:30:43 Updated db/auth2.pw 15:30:43 Notifying server asgard of database updates UpdateSrvLog: 11:23:15 Connection from 192.168.0.1:32790.
