The most practical is to make life of the server easier while you populate Coda with data. Otherwise you will easily suffer disconnections and the notorious "single client conflicts". Creating filetrees (and removing them) belongs to the slowest / "hardest" operations on Coda - and can be tricky for reintegrations, so you want to stay connected for massive updates. "cfs strong; cfs cs" is your friend. So, move the data to another host with a Coda client - over nfs, scp, netcat, smb or any other means - and slowly copy it to Coda. It will save you a lot of trouble. Otherwise, theoretically, you can do it on the same host. In an ideal world it doesn't make a difference. Regards, -- IvanReceived on 2005-03-10 11:09:52
