X-No-Archive: yes Hi all, Following the System Administrators Manual to start my fresh venus client for testing "testserver.coda.cs.cmu.edu" server # venus-setup testserver.coda.cs.cmu.edu 20000 Creating /usr/coda, mode 755 Creating /usr/coda/spool, mode 755 Creating /usr/coda/venus.cache, mode 700 Creating /usr/coda/etc, mode 700 /etc/services already has new services registered! Good. /etc/services ready for Coda I got the following message: # venus & [1] 630 # Date: Thu 04/14/2005 18:51:18 Coda Venus, version 6.0.8 18:51:18 Probably another Venus is running! open failed for /dev/cfs0,/dev/coda/0, exiting [1] + Done (1) venus So I checked with "netstat" command, if this is true, but NOT! no Venus processes are running! What wrong? -- Ed.Received on 2005-04-14 13:04:48
