Hello, the coda-client-setup package includes now the newest Coda client, version 6.0.11, for all supported platforms except NetBSD (NetBSD due to some kernel issues retains the same Coda version as coda-client-setup-0.7). Coda 6.0.11 fixes some annoying bugs most remarkable at reintegration. You want to upgrade, unless you are using Coda strictly readonly (like Konvalo does) and have a slow connection, so that repopulation of the cache would be painful. The install/uninstall script is available as http://www.konvalo.org/pub/coda-client-setup download and run "sh coda-client-setup" as root or "sh coda-client-setup --help" at first. It supports on Intel x86 (32 bit) Linux 2.6 (or patched 2.4 with the newer Coda module) [*] FreeBSD 5.4 (probably 5.3 and 5.2 as well - untested) NetBSD 2 on PowerPC Mac OS X Darwin 7.9.0 (possibly other versions as well) [**] [*] any Linux distribution, though not all distributions provide a Coda-capable kernel, you may have to check / recompile the kernel. [**] Konvalo.org still lacks software to run on Darwin due to lack of maintainers - feel free to volunteer. Another very welcome contribution would be a port of Coda kernel module to Tiger. Enjoy! -- IvanReceived on 2005-06-19 14:24:17
