It is impossible to know the amount of free or occupied space on Coda - both are infinite. In contrast, under Linux "df /coda" shows the state of the local cache, which is very handy, though confuses some programs who want to check available space, as low space _in_cache_ does not mean you can not store a lot :) The faked free space trick appeared first in AFS, I think.
