Hi folks,

I need to have certain files (ie. mozilla profile) alway cached.
But since I often need to reinitialize venus (see other posts)
it often gets cleaned. 

I've put a hack in my .profile which let's tar fetch the whole
dir in background, so these files get fetched. But this takes 
really long via the wide inet. Isn't there any way for fetching
evrything in a big blob (without the long delayed ping-pong ?)
