UDB's are one of the best horsepower bargains going.  I own two PCI-33
boards, I payed $129.00 each. They are 166's with onboard SCSI, PCI, etc.
One'e an RH5.0 box, the other is a Digital Unix 4.0 box - which runs
a DCE cell and Oracle 7. :)

I consult part-time.. My colleagues live across the river in Cambridge,
Arlington and Lexington. We are cable-modemed and were using DFS to fileshare
over the cable network, we have a small cell setup, a DEC box and an AIX
box (which does most of the fileserver work).. and about 12 users - 
NT, Solaris, HP/UX people.  We clearly wanted Linux, which is one reason why
I've been busting my balls trying to get the DCE port to Linux done.

Coda will provide us with broader reach for collaborating with more
people. We eventually want to leverage the cablemodem service in MetroBoston
to link ourselves with more partners, and do collaborative development
over a common, shared infrastructure. Coda will do things that DFS cant -
such as hot-swap RW replicas, better fit to the communications characteristics
of a cable network.

Coda is clearly the balls and I want to help it to proliferate.

I'm anxious to see the Win95/WinNT work.  Coda could potentially drive 
a massive thorn in the ass of Microsoft, which I will gladly help stick
in.
