I'm just a lurker on the codalist, so really have no right to express an opinion. But I feel I ought to say how much I have been put off coda by reading the list! I spend most of my time on my laptop, linked by WiFi to my desktop which in turn is linked by ADSL to the world. But when I go into college I ssh over WiFi into the college system. When I first heard of coda it seemed heaven-sent for someone like me. But as I said, I read so much about problems with coda I've been quite put off trying it. Is this a foolish or cowardly reaction? I may say I have no intention of using 2GB files, and am not too concerned about the speed. But I don't want all my files to disappear! -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: tim_at_birdsnest.maths.tcd.ie tel: 00353-86-233 6090 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, IrelandReceived on 2002-11-14 13:28:06
