I haven't really been following this thread, but coda is in the ports directory, and seems to be actively updated (the last patch is from Mar 31). The patches seem pretty trivial: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/net/coda5_server/files/ FreeBSD has been on a kick of taking stuff out of the Base distribution proper anyways. For example, in FreeBSD 5.0, Perl is no longer "in" the base distribution, but is automatically added as a package at install time.
