I am compiling Coda 6.0.11 for several platforms and can not make it through on NetBSD. My compilation scripts run from Coda themselves and randomly but very reliably lock the kernel forever. I am thinking of abandoning support for NetBSD in my easy-install client as the kernel seems to be "too buggy" even for the client self-compile. I can not either run Konvalo on NetBSD for the same reason, quite soon some process is locked forever, and then the other ones begin to hang somewhere in the kernel as well. It can be an interaction between Linux ABI and Coda on NetBSD, or long paths with symlinks which trigger the problem - but anyway the reason is some bug in the kernel. I wonder if you experience it or not. Regards, -- IvanReceived on 2005-06-16 08:34:42
