Have a look at /etc/coda/realms or realms.conf and /etc/coda/venus.conf
Venus reinit will probably be necessary....

Yep ...
Create you rootvolume and your firsts coda volume to store data in 
codafs....
You can use any venus client ( the Xbox ) to put files in volumes....

Yes...
Server and client are really distinct....
If you want you server to acces data in coda you'll need to install 
venus on the server
