Hi, I'm stumbling over the following errors (in different client's dmesgs): coda_pioctl: Venus returns: -22 for (51922808.7f000000.00000043.00000062) coda_pioctl: Venus returns: -13 for (0xff000001.0x1.0x1) coda_pioctl: Venus returns: -107 for (51e90f88.ff000001.00000001.00000001) I can ls cached directories, it seems. On one (notebook) client, I have hoarded the whole codashare (about 60MB), this share is usable (as long as it doesn't come to reintegrating the changes). Another client (workstation) seems to have cached some listings, but ls'ing other directories (which might not be cached) just produce: ls: .: Connection timed out These errors prevent me from reintegrating my changes to the coda server. First of all, I did not succeed in getting to know what this error means, and as a result from that, I am unaware of what I can do about it. I think, I have not changed anything important since I get this error (also my conscience tells me that I must have, because otherwise it would just work). It seems that client cannot log in: $ cfs lv /coda/marvin/ Status of volume 0x7f000000 (2130706432) named "codashare" Volume type is Replicated Connection State is Disconnected Write-back is disabled There are 1 CML entries pending for reintegration codacon on the client says the following repeatingly every 10 minutes, or if I "hoard walk": BeginDataWalk [69394] ( 20:17:21 ) EndDataWalk [69394] ( 20:17:21 ) [1, 0, 0.0] [0, 0, 0, 0] ( 20:17:21 ) I have checked and tried the following: - clients are authenticated, according to ctokens - server is reachable, codasrv runs - restarting coda server en clients I am using the following versions of coda: ii coda-client 6.0.5-1 Client for the Coda distributed file system ii coda-server 6.0.5-1 Server for the Coda distributed file system ii coda-update 6.0.5-1 Server for the Coda distributed file system The server is running 2.6.3, there's also a client installed on it, two other clients are, respectively running 2.6.4-ck2 and 2.4.26 with patches for coda 6. I got most of the software from the coda debian archives. I am pretty new to coda, so this is all somewhat confusing to me, please keep that in mind if I pose really stupid questions and be patient with me. :-) Help on this is greatly appreciated. If more info is needed, please let me know! kind regards, -- sebas -------------- Do you know the difference between education and experience?
